SRLA 18-mile Friendship Run

This event is open to the public. We welcome runners of all ages to join our students at our annual 18-mile Friendship Run. This event is co-sponsored by Los Angeles City Council District 7.

Cost

$30.00 before 1/25/08, $40.00 after 1/25/08 and for on site registration.

Parking

The start/finish line is located in Hansen Dam Park. Free parking is available inside Hansen Dam Park, 11770 Foothill Blvd., San Fernando, CA 91342. Entrance at Dronfield Avenue off of Osborne Street between Glenoaks and Foothill Boulevards.

Awards

Overall Male/Female and top 3 place finishers in age divisions: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-40, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70 & over.

Directions

The Hansen Dam Recreation area can be best reached by the 5 Freeway. Exit at Osborne and go east approximately 2.5 miles to the Dronfield entrance to the park. Dronfield is approximately 1/2 mile past Glenoaks Blvd. but before Foothill Blvd. Either park on Osborne Blvd. or turn right into the park and park as directed. Hansen Dam can also be reached from the 210 Freeway however these off ramps may be closed after 7:00 a.m. on race morning. Click here for MapQuest directions to this event.
